Official American League baseball (Harridge) inscribed “To Rusty/From your pal/Dick Kerr” in blue ink on a side panel. In addition to signing the ball, Kerr has also listed the years he played, the teams he played with, and his yearly pitching record (wins and loses) on five panels. Both the signature and printed notations are boldly penned. Dickey Kerr pitched for the Chicago White Sox from 1919 to 1921 and then again in 1925. Kerr is most noted for winning both games he started during the 1919 World Series. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
