Beautiful Mickey Mantle Hand Painted George Sosnak Folk Art Baseball 1/1 Signed

Premier sports folk artist George Sosnak combined his terrific skills with a passion for baseball to make special items extraordinary. This ball is dedicated to Mickey Mantle’s 500th career home run. The Mick originally signed on the sweet spot and Sosnak did the rest, devoting the north and south panels to the boxscore of the May 14, 1967, contest against the Baltimore Orioles in which Mantle’s 7th inning run was the highlight in a 6-5 victory. Those familiar with Sosnak’s work know of the immaculate detail for which he’s known, and this piece is no exception as it looks to have an encyclopedia’s worth of information surrounding team logos, an image of the Commerce Comet, and the aforementioned autograph on the sweet spot. Decidedly not your typical autographed baseball.
